Qualifications

• Ability to obtain Security License for Nova Scotia
• Valid Intermediate First Aid & CPR
• English fluency (oral and written)
• Previous security, law enforcement, or related field preferred
• Must have certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and MOAB or enroll in Paladin training with 6‑month commitment

Responsibilities

• Patrol Hospital Grounds and surrounding premises.
• Monitor Surveillance Systems and report suspicious activity.
• Manage Access Control at hospital entry points.
• Respond to Emergencies and assist staff during crises.
• Provide Customer Service to visitors, patients, and staff.
• Conduct Conflict Resolution as needed.
• Prepare and file incident reports accurately.
• Collaborate with hospital staff and local law enforcement.
• Enforce Hospital Policies and ensure visitor/patient compliance.
