Qualifications

• Journeyperson Refrigeration Mechanic Certificate recognized in Alberta.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience working as a Refrigeration Mechanic in a hospital, institutional, commercial, or industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration, HVAC, and related mechanical systems.
• Experience using a CMMS and reading blueprints/schematics.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, repair, and maintain refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and performance checks on air- or water-cooled systems.
• Follow safety practices and support a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.
