Guelph General Hospital is seeking a Power Plant Engineer to oversee inspection, maintenance and repair of boilers, chillers, water systems and BAS. You will ensure compliance with codes and collaborate with skilled trades to keep hospital operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Current 4th Class Stationary Engineer Certification or 2-3 years recent power plant experience.
• Experience in health care buildings and power plant operations.
• Plumbing, electrical, mechanical and pneumatic tube system knowledge with troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot and repair the facility's main infrastructure systems including boilers and chillers.
• Work in compliance with codes and regulations and assist other trades as needed.
• Operate and maintain building automation and related equipment in a hospital environment.
• Read blueprints and coordinate with facilities team to support hospital operations.
