Job summary

Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay, Ontario, seeks a Permanent Part-Time Pharmacy Technician to join the Pharmacy department. The role supports procurement, storage, preparation and delivery of medications for hospital patients, under the supervision of pharmacists.

Qualifications

Successful completion of a Pharmacy Technician program and registration with OCP.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail; ability to work with minimal supervision.
Knowledge of medication names and dosages; ability to fulfill RMH CIVA certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

Procure, store, prepare and deliver medications to ensure patient safety.
Maintain and improve medication management and pharmaceutical care per provincial standards.
Work as part of an integrated Pharmacy team including pharmacists and assistants.
