Job summary

Alberta Health Services is seeking a Maintenance Worker III to perform skilled maintenance and repair on patient and hospital equipment and complex systems to ensure safe and efficient operation of building systems. Duties include preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of boilers, HVAC, medical air and vacuum systems, and coordination of staff as needed.

Requirements include post-secondary education or 1 year specialized training, or a 5th Class Power Engineer Certificate with ABSA

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in a related field or 1 year specialized/technical training.
• 5th Class Power Engineer Certificate as per ABSA guidelines or AHS boiler standards.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and demand maintenance on building systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electronic components on patient equipment.
• Coordinate and assign work to Maintenance Worker staff to meet operations.
