Nova Scotia Health Authority in Middleton is seeking an Environmental Services Worker to maintain a clean, safe, and functional environment for patients, families, staff and visitors at Soldiers Memorial Hospital. The role covers cleaning patient rooms and public areas, including mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and buffing.

This casual relief position offers flexible hours with no guaranteed shifts, located on site with travel between sites as needed and a starting hourly wage of $20.74–$21.56.

Qualificações

• Grade 12 or equivalent work experience.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Travel to other sites may be required; access to a reliable vehicle is required.
• Equipment operated includes Taski spray buffers, burnishers, auto scrubbers and shampooers.
• Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Maintains a clean, safe, and functional environment for patients, families, staff and visitors.
• cleans all units assigned, including patient rooms and public areas (mopping, dusting, vacuuming, buffing).
• Integrates mission, vision, values and safety into daily service delivery.
