Job Description

At Vitalant, our Hospital Distribution team plays a critical role in ensuring lifesaving blood products are available when and where patients need them. In this role you will provide responsive service to the hospitals and healthcare facilities we support. As a Hospital Distribution Technician, you'll work behind the scenes of patient care, processing hospital blood orders, preparing blood products needed for a scheduled procedure, an ongoing patient need or an urgent situation, safely and efficiently.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly regulated healthcare environment. You do not need to come from a blood banking background to make an impact. We're looking for individuals who can follow detailed procedures, provide excellent customer service, work accurately under pressure and understand the importance of getting every order right. While you may never meet the patient receiving the blood you handle, the work you do directly supports patient care every day.
