Job summary

Toromont Cat in Timmins, Ontario is seeking a Hose Technician to join its team. This full-time, permanent role involves building hose assemblies, safely handling materials, and contributing to a well-run warehouse operation.

You will work with Caterpillar-brand equipment, operate a forklift, maintain inventory, and support customer service with accurate, timely hose assemblies. A post-secondary education and hose-building experience are required.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education required.
• Hose-building training and 1+ year of experience building hoses.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviours at all times, in support of Toromont’s Health and Safety Policies, Programs and initiatives.
• Build hose assemblies both from build sheets and from analysis of customer hoses.
• Operate forklift to retrieve hoses.
• Ensure external and internal customer needs are met in an efficient, knowledgeable and professional manner.
• Maintain hose parts inventory levels.
• Assist in other areas of the warehouse as required.

Compensation

$42,235 to $52,795
