Job summary

Arbour Crest Tree Services Ltd. is looking for a Groundperson/Labourer to assist our horticulturists, arborists and landscapers in growing our tree and landscape service business in Saskatoon.

The role offers a rich variety of daily tasks and hands-on learning opportunities across pruning, hedges, landscaping, snow removal and plant health care. The position follows a Thursday to Monday schedule (Tuesdays and Wednesdays off) with training provided and overtime opportunities as experience grows.

Qualifications

• Driver's license and vehicle is required.
• Steel toed boots are required.
• Equipment maintenance skills are beneficial.
• Dependable and reliable is essential.
• Equipment operation knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist horticulturists/arborists/landscapers with various tasks such as pruning, shaping hedges, landscaping, snow removal, tree fertilizing and plant health care.
• Support groundwork and site preparation across a wide range of tasks.
• Learn on the job with lots of variety and opportunity to acquire new skills.
• Work a Thursday to Monday shift, with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off.
