Schaeffler Aerospace Canada Inc. in Stratford, Ontario, is seeking a full-time production operator to set up and run production processes, including CNC and manual equipment, while ensuring quality standards.

You will troubleshoot issues, inspect your own work, and record data in routers/IMS. Training others and potential cross‑department work are also part of the role. Competitive wages and benefits are offered.

• Competitive wages – starting rate: $28.85; top rate: $33.10 per hour + shift premiums);

Your Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a minimum of one production process performing single and/or multiple functions, which may include CNC or manually controlled equipment.
• Perform problem solving and troubleshoot to resolve production/process issues to meet required standards.
• Responsible for quality
• Required to perform inspection of own work using precision measuring equipment as provided or directed to assess quality of work.
• Follow and accurately record data as directed or required in routers, IMS and any other production tracking systems.
• Required to perform inspection of own work Certified Operator Program.
• Required to train other operators as needed.
• May be required to work in other departments or occasionally to set up a machine for others
• Ability to read and interpret production prints.
• Requires adequate computer skills to access production procedures to perform the required work.
• Responsible for excellent housekeeping and maintaining 5S in all areas.
• Meet the skill requirements identified in the applicable training matrix, and maintain certification through company.

Your Qualifications

• Education: Grade 12 diploma
• Experience: Equivalent machining background or mechanical aptitude.
