Job summary

Community Home Assistance To Seniors (CHATS) is seeking a Full-Time Home Support Worker in Newmarket, Ontario. The role involves cleaning and providing social interaction with older seniors to support independence at home.

The position requires First Aid, a valid Ontario driver’s license, and experience with seniors and household management. Bilingual ability is an asset; strong English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Standard First Aid certificate required.
• Vehicle and valid Ontario driver's license required.
• Experience working with seniors.
• Experience with household management.
• Able to perform housecleaning tasks including housekeeping and cleaning of areas regularly used by clients.
• Able to promote and maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
• Able to provide minor problem-solving solutions.
• Good judgement and ability to work independently.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written).
• Fluency in English & French or other languages is an asset.

Full-Time | Monday to Friday | 9:00am to 5:00pm | 75 hours bi-weekly
