Job summary

The Developmental Disabilities Association invites motivated individuals to become home share providers in the Vancouver/Richmond area. You will support adults with developmental disabilities by sharing a home, helping with daily living, budgeting, health and nutrition, and community activities.

Requirements include residency in Vancouver, education in social services or related field, First Aid/CPR, a clear criminal record, a valid driver’s license, and a reliable driving record.

Qualifications

• Residency in the City of Vancouver.
• Education in Social Services, Health Care or related field.
• Career or personal experience helping others accomplish their goals.
• First Aid/CPR certification.
• Clear criminal record.
• Driver’s license and a clear driving abstract.

Responsibilities

• Help adults with developmental disabilities learn new ways to be successful with their financial management, health and nutrition, relationship building, and community activities.
