Job summary

Developmental Disabilities Association in Vancouver is seeking home share providers to join our Individual Care Network. You would host adults with developmental disabilities in a private bedroom within a family home, basement suite, or shared apartment with a roommate.

Responsibilities include helping individuals learn financial management, health and nutrition, relationship skills, and participate in community activities while fostering independence and safety.

Qualifications

• Residing in the City of Vancouver.
• Education in Social Services or related field.
• Experience helping others achieve goals.
• First Aid/CPR certification.
• Clear criminal record.
• Driver’s license and clean driving abstract.

Responsibilities

• Support adults with developmental disabilities in financial management, health, nutrition, relationships, and community activities.
• Provide home-sharing arrangements with private bedrooms in family homes, basements, or shared apartments.
