The Home Depot Canada is hiring Sales Associates to provide fast, friendly service and help customers select products for their projects. You will greet, engage, and thank customers, explain features, and connect them with related items to complete a solution.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of retail experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a customer‑focused mindset. Flexibility for evenings and weekends in a dynamic warehouse environment is required.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 to 2 years Retail or Trade experience an asset.
• Customer service mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Follow GET model: Greeting, Engaging, and Thanking customers.
• Actively assist customers throughout the store and guide them to merchandise across departments.
• Ask open-ended questions to assess customer needs and expertise.
• Promote services like Tool Rental and Pro Desk and advise on recommendations.
• Discuss options (good/better/best) and suggest related items outside the department.
• Educate customers about the full project.
• Use empowerment program to satisfy customers.
• Maintain stock: sign, display, and keep products clean.
• Maintain knowledge of products in department and adjacent areas.
• Proactively learn about products and services.
• Follow safety and loss prevention policies.
