Article is seeking a Home Expert to join our Vancouver showroom on a part-time basis. You will welcome customers, guide furniture selections, and support online orders, helping create beautiful spaces with up-to-date product knowledge.

As part of the Retail - Leadership team, you’ll maintain an organized showroom, collaborate with teammates, and adapt to peak weekend periods while delivering excellent customer experiences.

Description

Hi there, we’re Article. Since 2013, we have been redefining the furniture industry one sofa at a time, it’s not easy — it requires solving challenging, meaningful problems. This is where you come in, as a Home Expert (Part-time) you'll be the face of Article, making every in-store interaction feel easy, inspiring, and memorable.

Availability:

Our store is open 7 days a week, 10 am -6 pm PST.

As a part-time employee, you must have a minimum availability of 24 hours per week (i.e. 3 days per) per week, including mandatory availability on Saturday and Sunday. Work schedules will be provided at least two weeks in advance, with specific start times varying within a specified range.

We require individuals with flexible availability. The shifts you will be assigned to will typically be between the following hours:

9:00 am - 7:00 pm PST (Hour early to open and Hour later to close)

What You'll Do:

As a Home Expert, you have a passion for helping customers create beautiful spaces in their homes. You are up to date on the latest trends and seek out ways to inspire and delight our customers. You have a proven ability to drive sales and deliver on KPI’s.

Who You Are:

Requirements:

• Legally able to work in Canada
• Completion of a criminal background check
• Reliable transportation to (location)
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times
• Minimum 18 years of age

Customer Experience:

• You bring retail experience, ideally in a considered-purchase environment, where customers take time to compare and decide
• You’re passionate about helping people and love solving problems
• You build strong, genuine relationships that create long‑term Article customers
