Job summary

Leon's Furniture Limited is seeking a self-motivated Full Time Delivery Driver in Canada to safely load/unload heavy cargo and deliver it to customers' homes. You will set up and assemble some items, remove packaging, and ensure a positive, professional delivery experience with strict adherence to safety policies.

Experience delivering furniture/appliances is beneficial; a clean driving record and valid license are required.

Qualifications

• Clean driving record and valid non-probationary driver's license with experience driving a 5-ton truck (clean abstract required).
• Ability to handle heavy goods and provide efficient, safe, enjoyable delivery to customers.
• Previous furniture/appliances delivery experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Carefully loading and unloading the delivery truck.
• Safely delivering products into customers’ homes.
• Set up and assembly of some items.
• Removal of packaging materials.
• Returning approved merchandise.
• Providing professional, friendly and efficient delivery service.
• Complying with Health and Safety policies and procedures.
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Performing various other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Your clean driving record and valid non-probationary driver's license with experience driving a 5-ton truck (clean abstract required)

• Your previous experience delivering furniture and appliances to customers’ homes (beneficial)

Compensation:

$50,000 to $100,000 plus (income may vary based on volume and location).
