Job summary

Leon’s Furniture Limited in Winnipeg is seeking a self-motivated Full Time Delivery Driver to load and unload the delivery truck, safely deliver furniture to customers' homes, assemble some items, and ensure a positive delivery experience.

Requirements include a clean driving record with a valid non-probationary driver’s license and experience driving a 5-ton truck; previous furniture/appliance delivery is a plus; strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Carefully loading and unloading the delivery truck
• Safely delivering products into customers’ homes
• Set up and assembly of some items
• Removal of packaging materials
• Returning approved merchandise
• Providing professional, friendly and efficient delivery service
• Complying with Health and Safety policies and procedures

Working with other departments to ensure a positive overall customer experience. Requirements:

• Your clean driving record and valid non-probationary driver's license with experience driving a 5-ton truck (clean abstract required)
• Your ability to handle heavy goods and provide an efficient, safe and enjoyable delivery experience to our customers
• Your previous experience delivering furniture and appliances to customers’ homes (beneficial)
