Leon’s Furniture is seeking a self-motivated Full Time Delivery Driver to load, deliver and set up furniture and appliances for customers’ homes. The role requires safe handling of heavy goods, a professional demeanor, and a positive attitude.

You will be the final link in ensuring customer satisfaction, collaborating with other teams to provide a seamless shopping experience. Training and growth opportunities are available within a long-established Canadian company.

Qualifications

• Clean driving record with a valid non-probationary driver’s license.
• Experience delivering furniture or appliances is beneficial.
• Ability to handle heavy goods safely and efficiently.
• Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Carefully loading and unloading the delivery truck.
• Safely delivering products into customers' homes.
• Set up and assembly of some items.
• Removal of packaging materials.
• Returning approved merchandise.
• Providing professional, friendly, and efficient delivery service.
• Complying with Health and Safety policies and procedures.
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure a superior customer experience.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Carefully loading and unloading the delivery truck

Requirements:

• Your clean driving record and valid non-probationary driver\'s license with experience driving a 5-ton truck (clean abstract required)
• Your ability to handle heavy goods and provide an efficient, safe and enjoyable delivery experience to our customers
• Your previous experience delivering furniture and appliances to customers’ homes (beneficial)
• Your positive attitude and exceptional interpersonal skills

Compensation:

$50,000 to $100,000 plus (income may vary based on volume and location).
