Job summary

EWART FAMILY in Clarington, Ontario is seeking a compassionate live-in caregiver to assist with daily child care and household duties at their home. The role includes supervising and caring for children, preparing meals, and maintaining a safe, healthy living environment.

Accommodation is provided at no charge on a live-in basis. English language required; secondary school diploma or equivalent; experience is an asset.

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
• Experience in child care or household management is an asset.
• On-site, live-in work in the family home.

Responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• Bathe, dress and feed infants and children
• Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals
• Prepare infants and children for rest periods
• Securely supervise and care for children
