Job summary

ParaMed Extendicare is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide in-home therapy across Muskoka, Ontario. You will assess clients in their home environment, build a tailored care plan, and deliver services that promote safety and independence. A hybrid model allows both in-person and telehealth sessions to fit client needs.

The role emphasizes collaboration with families and a broader healthcare team, with opportunities for growth and a generous sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized post-secondary program in Occupational Therapy.
• Current active registration and in good standing as an Occupational Therapist with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients in their home and develop an individualized therapy plan.
• Promote safety and health through home-based interventions and equipment recommendations.
• Collaborate with a healthcare team and family to achieve holistic goals.
• Offer both in-home and virtual visits within a hybrid care model.
