Job summary

The LCBO (Liquor Control Board of Ontario) is hiring Holiday Customer Service Representatives for Ontario stores from November 16 to December 31, 2026. Positions are on-site with weekend availability and a focus on delivering excellent customer experiences during the holiday season.

You will operate the POS system, assist customers, support sustainability campaigns, and help with stocking, inventory, and store upkeep.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be legally allowed to work in Canada (valid SIN, STUDENT or Work Permit).
• On-site availability with weekend shifts (Fri 5:00 pm–Close; Sat/Sun).
• Holiday availability: Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve.
• Bilingualism (English and French) is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers using the POS/cash system for an outstanding experience.
• Promote donations as part of the Spirit of Sustainability.
• Participate in Customer Experience and Postal Code Survey campaigns.
• Receive inventory, replenish stock, face products on shelves and keep the store clean, organized and safe.
• Lift cases up to 40 lbs / 18 kg repeatedly while standing for long periods.

Location Address: 1437 King Street East, Courtice Salary / Pay: $20.82/hour

The LCBO is seeking Holiday Customer Service Representatives who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences in our retail stores across Ontario from November 16 to December 31, 2026. If you are interested in becoming a friendly, helpful go-to expert for customers during the holiday season, this role is a great opportunity to make a positive impact. Through paid online training, you will build your customer service skills and discover the world of wine, beer, cider and spirits, giving you the confidence to support customers and make their holiday shopping experience memorable.

Reporting to the Store Manager, you will:

• Serve customers using our POS/Cash system, promptly and responsibly, ensuring an outstanding customer experience.
• Ask for donations as part of our Spirit of Sustainability campaign.
• Participate in the Customer Experience and Postal Code Survey campaigns.
• Receive inventory, replenish stock, face-up products on shelves and ensure our store is clean, organized and safe for all.
• Lift cases of various sizes and weights (up to 40 lbs./18 kg) repeatedly while standing for long periods of time.

About You: Comfortable supporting customers and working effectively with teammates.

You must be legally allowed to work in Canada (have a valid SIN, Student, or Work Permit).

You must be at least 18 years old.

Bilingualism (English and French) is a bonus.

Required Availability Friday (5:00 p.m. – Close). Saturday and Sunday (available all day for a 4-to- 8-hour shift). Holiday Availability: Christmas Day (December 25). Boxing Day (December 26). New Year’s Eve (December 31).

Additional Availability Additional work may be available during the week (Monday – Thursday), based on store needs. Schedules are posted two weeks in advance. Extra shifts may come up on short notice.
