Job summary

OEG Sports & Entertainment seeks an Event Coordinator to turn Edmonton Oil Kings gamedays into live events at Rogers Place. The role also supports events across Oilers Events, Live Entertainment, Corporate Events, and internal events.

You’ll manage client logistics, prepare plans, and ensure flawless execution. With 2+ years in events and an Asset in Event Management education, you’ll coordinate budgets, supervise onsite activities, and partner with vendors to deliver outstanding experiences for

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in the events industry is required.
• Event Management Certificate, Diploma or Degree in event management is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Rogers Place contact for Edmonton Oil Kings games.
• Support and execute events across other OEG brand portfolios within Rogers Place.
• Collaborate with clients to manage event details and execution plans.
• Coordinate event logistics, including quotes and services.
• Provide onsite event support and supervision from setup to tear-down.
• Lead event planning meetings and communicate details to stakeholders.
• Prepare cost estimates and distribute to stakeholders.
