Job summary

Alberta Health Services invites applications for a Supervisor, Health Information Management at Northern Lights Regional Health Centre in Fort McMurray. The role leads HIM activities and supervises staff to ensure data quality, record management, and compliance with HIM standards.

You will partner with leaders across the centre, manage workflow, resources and throughput, and drive continuous improvement in health information services in support of patient care and research.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in business or health-related discipline.
• Health Information Management program certification with CHIMA.
• 3–5 years in a management/supervisor role in a large, complex organization.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and leadership for HIM activities at the Fort McMurray site.
• Direct supervision of HIM staff and workflow management.
• Ensure health information and records management meets HIM standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve service priorities.
