Qualifikationen

• Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Strong understanding of highway infrastructure, including road surfaces and signage.
• Excellent observation skills and attention to detail.
• Experience using tablets, mobile devices, and electronic field reporting.
• Ability to work independently in the field.

Aufgaben

• Conduct scheduled highway patrols and inspections.
• Monitor and report highway conditions, roadway hazards, and infrastructure deficiencies.
• Identify, document, and track defects using electronic field applications, tablets, and reporting systems.
• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and hazardous conditions that may impact the travelling public.
• Complete required inspections of highway assets, including signage, roadway surfaces, lighting, guardrail systems, and other infrastructure.
• Perform minor maintenance activities during patrols, including debris and litter removal, sign straightening and minor repairs, hazard mitigation and cleanup.
• Communicate maintenance priorities and defect information to supervisors and operations teams.
• Assist maintenance crews with general highway maintenance duties.
• Participate in emergency response operations as required.
• Promote and maintain Ledcor's commitment to health, safety, and environmental stewardship.
