Responsibilities

Intermediate Highway Design Engineer – Roundabouts supports the delivery of transportation infrastructure projects within a multidisciplinary engineering environment in Markham, ON, Canada. This role contributes to provincial and municipal roadway design assignments, focusing on geometric design development for highways, interchanges, and urban road networks in coordination with internal technical teams.

The scope includes preparation of design packages through multiple project phases, ensuring alignment with MTO standards, TAC guidelines, and municipal requirements. Responsibilities span design development, technical documentation, and coordination with disciplines such as traffic, utilities, structures, and environmental services. The position also supports construction-phase activities and technical reviews. The ideal candidate offers at least five years of relevant experience in roundabout and highway design, including exposure to Ontario transportation standards and multidisciplinary project delivery environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop geometric design packages for highways, roundabouts, interchanges, and urban roadway corridors.
