Job summary

PS Technologies Inc. is seeking a CADD Drafter to support high voltage substation projects in Western Canada. The role involves producing complete substation drawings, single-line diagrams, and wiring schematics with AutoCAD or MicroStation.

The ideal candidate will have a college degree or a 2-year CADD certificate and 6+ years of drafting experience, including 4+ years related to substations. Remote-friendly, relocation may be considered, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2D drafting experience with clear, accurate drawings.
• Experience drafting for high voltage substations is preferred.
• Proven ability to interpret engineers' directions and deliver compliant drawings.
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete drawings of substation layouts and profiles.
• Create electrical single lines, AC & DC schematics and wiring drawings.
• Develop project drawings from layouts and arrangement concepts.
• Collaborate with engineering for project assignments and revisions.
