For the 2025-2026 School Year
This is a full-time position for the school year with the potential for continuation. The actual assignment may be adjusted to reflect the specific skills of the successful candidate.
Located in the Town of High Prairie, at the junction of Highway 2 and Highway 749, within Big Lakes County, approximately 371 km northwest of Edmonton and 118 km west of Slave Lake.
Students have access to an extensive academic program and a variety of activities. The school community is diverse, drawing students from eight surrounding communities. Staff pride themselves on fostering a cohesive community.
The division offers numerous professional development opportunities to support growth and advancement.
- Completed a Bachelor of Education Degree.
- Eligible to obtain an Alberta Teaching Certificate or proof of application from Alberta Education.
- Possess TQS or proof of application from the Alberta Teachers Association.
- Produce an original, recent (less than six months old) Criminal Records Check, including Vulnerable Sector Check.
