Job summary

Alliance Forming Ltd. in Ontario is hiring for a full-time construction labourer to support high-rise projects across the GTA. The role offers $46.57 CAD per hour plus benefits per Union Local 506, with multiple work locations across the GTA and province.

You will load materials, assist trades, and help operate and maintain site equipment. Applicants should have at least 2 years of high-rise construction experience, relevant safety certificates, and be able to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of high-rise construction experience.
• Safety certificates listed above.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload construction materials; move materials to work areas.
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps at construction sites.
• Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete, traffic topping and hot rubber.
• Assist various tradespersons in construction activities.
• Assist heavy equipment operators to secure attachments to equipment.
• Signal operators to guide them and provide assistance.
• Remove rubble and debris at construction sites using tools.
• Operate pneumatic hammers, vibrators and tampers as directed.
• Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction such as mixers, compressors and pumps.
• Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed.
