Job summary

MCF Contracting Ltd. is hiring for a full-time construction worker to support activities across the Greater Toronto Area and Ontario. The role involves loading materials, erecting forms and scaffolding, and assisting tradespersons on site, with responsibility for moving equipment and debris removal.

Candidates should have at least 2 years in construction, be physically capable, and able to learn and follow instructions. Benefits include medical/dental, RRSP, and eye glasses after probation.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas.
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps at construction sites.
• Assist various tradespersons in construction activities.
• Assist heavy equipment operators to secure attachments to equipment and guide moving equipment.
• Remove rubble and debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows.
• Operate pneumatic hammers, vibrators and tampers as directed.
• Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction such as mixers, compressors and pumps.
• Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed.
