Job summary

Teledyne Vision Solutions is seeking a Linux Software Developer to join the Acquisition Software Group. You will design, develop, validate, and maintain high-performance image acquisition software for machine vision systems, including frame grabbers, camera interfaces, and device drivers.

You will work across user-space libraries, GenTL producers, and Linux kernel drivers, focusing on quality, performance, automation, and cybersecurity.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's in CS/Engineering or AI or equivalent.
Strong C and C++ software development experience.
Experience on Linux platforms and kernel drivers.
Familiarity with GenICam/GenTL, GigE Vision, CoaXPress.
Experience with automated testing and CI/CD workflows.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, validate acquisition software for Linux.
Develop kernel drivers for frame grabbers and GigE Vision devices.
Create and maintain user-space libraries, APIs, SDKs, and GenTL producers.
Improve performance, memory usage, and throughput in high-bandwidth systems.
Collaborate with hardware, FPGA, QA, and product teams.
