Zusammenfassung

University Health Network is hiring a Registered Practical Nurse for the Sheppard Centre Hemodialysis unit in Toronto. The role is part-time and focuses on initiating and monitoring hemodialysis within an interprofessional team. The position requires a valid RPN license and specialized nephrology training.

Aufgaben

Initiate, monitor and discontinue hemodialysis treatments per patient needs.
Perform patient assessments and health teaching in collaboration with the team.
Set up/monitor and troubleshoot dialysis machines; respond to patient status changes.
Contribute to unit quality improvement and research activities.
