Job summary

Chartright Air Group is seeking an experienced Bell 429 Captain based in Halifax (YHZ) to lead flights with safety, professionalism, and client-focused service. You will operate as Pilot-in-Command, delivering a premium experience to high-value clients while collaborating with Flight Coordination Centre and Sales teams to ensure seamless mission execution.

The role requires 2,500 hours total, 1,000 multi-engine PIC hours, turbine time preferred, and current TC Medical Cat 1 with a strong

Qualifications

  • > Canadian ATPL/Helicopter or CPL is required.
  • > 2500 total hours; minimum 1000 multi-engine PIC hours; turbine time preferred.
  • > Valid TC Medical Cat 1 and Canadian Radio Telephone License.
  • > Strong knowledge of CARs and SMS safety practices.

What You'll Do:

  • Operate as Pilot-in-Command on a Bell 429, based out of Halifax (YHZ), ensuring all flights are conducted with the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and operational excellence.
  • Deliver a premium client experience, acting as the face of the company and building strong, trusted relationships with high-value clientele.
  • Collaborate closely with the Flight Coordination Centre and Sales teams to ensure seamless execution of all mission requirements and service expectations.
  • Support operational readiness on reserve days, contributing to a reliable and responsive flight operation.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement across the operation.

What You Bring:

  • Canadian Airline Transport Pilot License - Helicopter?or Commercial Pilot License (CPL).
  • Group 4 Instrument Rating.
  • Valid Transport Canada Medical Category 1.
  • Canadian Radio Telephone License.
  • Minimum of 2500 hours total flight time.
  • Minimum 1000 multi-engine PIC hours, turbine time is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 60Ibs.
  • Hands-on experience with flight management systems and glass cockpits.
  • Strong understanding of aviation weather, airport performance, flight plan calculations, fuel planning?and?weight and balance.
  • Expert knowledge of the Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) and SMS safety practices.
  • Strong client service mindset with the ability to build effective relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and able to perform in a fast-paced, flexible scheduling environment.
