As our Heavy Equipment Technician, you’ll play an integral role in performing major diagnostics and repairs and servicing all equipment in the fleet with minimal supervision. You are responsible for providing the highest quality of service and complying with the company’s established policies and procedures. This position may also involve developing and coaching apprentices.

This is a full-time, permanent position paying $50.96 with all overtime at double time. We offer a competitive compensation package, which includes full health and dental, plus a company-sponsored RRSP plan of $3.50/hour. We promote continued education by providing frequent in-house OEM training to keep you up to date with advancing technology. This is a field tech position with the opportunity to work rotation shifts.

  • Keeping Your Cool. You may occasionally work under pressure while maintaining a strong focus on quality service. This position may involve physical work with heavy lifting and carrying, and you may also need to work overtime.
  • Mentorship. You may work with apprentices, providing on-the-job training and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Safety Minded. You work safely, following all safety programs and procedures consistently.
  • Organization. This detail-oriented position requires you to develop personal systems for organizing your work, ensuring you are prepared with information, parts, and specialty tooling prior to attending a worksite.
