Job Title: Heavy Equipment Technician

We are presently seeking a Heavy Equipment Technician to join our John Deere dealership in Red Deer.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate the working condition of, diagnose, disassemble/assemble, order parts for, and repair heavy-duty equipment efficiently and effectively.
• Use secondary materials and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Dismantle, repair, and assemble industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to specifications.
• Operate hoisting devices to position machinery and parts during assembly, installation, and/or repair activities.
• Test and provide constructive feedback on existing and newly manufactured industrial equipment.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair malfunctioning machinery and equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance such as cleaning and lubricating machinery.
• Prepare electronic inspection and service reports.
• Use parts catalogues to locate and order parts from parts personnel.
• Road test equipment and check attachment operation as required.
• Perform other duties as required.
