Job summary

Ledcor is looking for experienced Heavy Equipment Technicians to support our Fort MacKay, AB Albian Reclamation project. You’ll diagnose, repair, and maintain a fleet including haul trucks, loaders, dozers and excavators to keep operations safe and productive.

Join a team committed to safety and reliability. Camp accommodations are provided, with charter flights from Edmonton or Calgary. Shifts are 14 days on / 14 days off, working 12 hours per day in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience in heavy equipment repair (mining or heavy civil preferred).
  • Apprentice or Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician Certification.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Experience reading schematics and using diagnostic tools.
  • Experience with CAT, John Deere, and Komatsu equipment strongly preferred.
  • Must be available for day / night shifts.

Ledcor is looking for experienced Heavy Equipment Technicians to support our operations in CNRL Albian Reclamation project in Fort MacKay, AB. You’ll work on a fleet of haul trucks, loaders, dozers, and excavators, helping keep critical equipment safe, reliable, and ready for the job. Join the True Blue Ledcor team! Essential Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy mining equipment including haul trucks, loaders, dozers, and excavators

Work Conditions
  • Project based position working 14 days on and 14 days off, working 12 hours per day
  • Work is anticipated to be completed in April 2027 with potential for extension
