Job summary

Wajax Corporation is hiring a Heavy Equipment Shop Technician to diagnose, repair, and recondition heavy equipment and engine components. You will service equipment on-site or in the shop, communicate servicing needs to customers, and maintain accurate service records.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, safety adherence, and ongoing training in partnership with manufacturers. A Red Seal or trade certification is preferred, with opportunities for health and welfare benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to work with customers, exceptional customer service; demonstrated mechanical aptitude, analysis, and problem-solving skills
• Education includes trade certification or Journeyman Red Seal; currently registered in related provincial apprenticeship program
• CVIP and Class 3 license are assets

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose components and equipment for servicing needs
• Service and repair equipment in the shop and on-site for the customer
• Update and maintain service records and complete work orders
• Participate in required Health & Safety Training and comply with safety practices
