The County of Grande Prairie is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our roads maintenance team. You will operate backhoes, track hoes, graders and dump trucks, perform routine safety checks and record-keeping, and support snow removal in winter.
Shift is permanent, full-time from 7:00am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime. The role offers competitive compensation, benefits, and professional development opportunities.

Operates the backhoe, track hoe, crawler tractor, buggy, packer, grader, plow truck, gravel truck etc. to construct and maintain roads, load gravel/sand/salt trucks and for construction and maintenance projects. Operator may be generally assigned to one type of equipment but may operate other equipment from time to time and perform related duties.

Shift Details:This position is permanent, full-time with shifts from 7:00am - 4:30pm, 5 days a week, for 44 hours per week. Some extended hours and/or weekends may be required to meet operational needs.
Hourly Rate:$36.48 to $42.92
