Job summary

EAP Construction Ltd. in Alberta is seeking experienced Equipment Operators to support multiple upcoming civil, commercial, and industrial projects beginning early 2026. You will operate skid steers, loaders, excavators, telehandlers, packers and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently on busy sites.

Ideal candidates are reliable, safety-focused, and able to work outdoors in varying weather. You will perform pre-trip inspections, help with site prep and material movement, and collaborate

Qualifications

• Two+ years of experience operating heavy equipment on construction sites.
• Valid operator certifications such as CSTS 2020 and CSO or equivalent safety training.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and environments.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality are required.

Responsibilities

• Operate skid steers, loaders, excavators, telehandlers, packers and other equipment safely on site.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report hazards.
• Perform excavation, loading, grading, backfilling, and site prep tasks.
• Coordinate with ground crews, spotters, and supervisors to complete daily tasks.
• Maintain and care for equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Follow all site safety rules and project guidelines.
• Support general labour duties when necessary.
