Job summary

ProZone Ltd. in Edmonton requires a Heavy Equipment Operator to work on-site at various locations. You will operate backhoes, loaders, pavers, rollers, Bobcats and other equipment while performing pre-operation checks and routine maintenance.

Applicants should have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience, a secondary school certificate, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work in dusty, noisy outdoor environments. Travel to multiple sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduation certificate is required.
• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in heavy equipment operation.
• On-site work with no remote option.
• Valid driver's license and own transportation.
• Ability to work in dusty, noisy outdoor construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment.
• Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks.
• Measure distance, volume, length and weight.
• Operate computer controlled equipment.
• Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment.
• Prepare accident reports.
• Secure special attachments to equipment.
• Perform minor repairs to equipment.
