Job summary

A leading metal recycling company in Peel Region is seeking a Heavy Duty Equipment Operator to operate equipment such as Excavator and Front End Loader. This position requires strong communication skills and prior experience in operating heavy machinery. The role is essential for maintaining efficient operations within the recycling facility and ensures safety standards are adhered to. The ideal candidate will exhibit core values of respect, excellence, and teamwork. Night shifts with alternating hours are expected.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating Excavator, Front End Loader, Rock Truck.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• Strong communication both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of heavy equipment including Excavator, Scrap Handler, Front End Loader.
• Load scrap metal as assigned.
• Maintain a safe and orderly working environment.
