Job summary

Ledcor Construction, Inc. is seeking Truck and Coach Technicians/Heavy Duty Mechanics for the Highway Maintenance team across Ontario, performing maintenance and repair of plow and sanding trucks, loaders, graders and light support gear to keep roads safe.

This shop-based role features a 10-hour shift, travel to field operations, adherence to safety programs, and thorough maintenance records. Applicants should hold a 310T or Red Seal, have a valid license, and be able to read sketches.

Qualifications

• Must have a 310T Truck and Coach ticket from a recognized provincial authority, or a Red Seal On-Road ticket.
• Valid Driver's License with ability to provide a 3-year driver’s abstract.
• Experience with heavy civil construction or highway maintenance equipment is an asset.
• 421A Heavy Equipment Technician ticket is an asset.
• Ability to read and interpret sketches and diagrams; follow verbal and written instructions.
• Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Commitment to safety policies and maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair of heavy construction and maintenance equipment such as plow and sanding trucks, loaders, and light support gear.
• Follow manufacturer and internal maintenance programs and inspection procedures.
• Engage and participate in Ledcor safety policies and procedures.
• Complete maintenance records and documentation as required.
