An established industry player is seeking a dedicated journeyman heavy duty mechanic to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing repairs and regular maintenance on transport trucks and a fleet of construction equipment. The ideal candidate will have a Red Seal certification and at least two years of experience in the heavy equipment industry. What we are looking for:

Hard-working journeyman heavy duty mechanic to perform repairs and regular maintenance on transport trucks and a fleet of construction equipment. We are looking for someone who has the ability to manage and prioritize workload. Reliability is a must. Ability to start immediately. Some heavy lifting is required, up to 50 lbs.

Position Requirements:

• Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic
• Minimum 2 years experience in the heavy equipment industry is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required.
• Good verbal and written English communication skills.
• Must be able to work alone with minimal supervision as well as in a group setting.

Location of Employment:

The position will be based at our Yard facility in Langley, BC. However, there will be times where services or repairs have to be performed at remote site locations in BC.

Applicants must be legally permitted to work in Canada.

Wages and Benefits:

Salary is posted at CA$35 - $42 per hour, and is commensurate with experience, expertise, qualifications, training requirements, and ability to fulfill all the obligations outlined above.
