Clean Harbors Edmonton AB is seeking a Licensed Heavy Duty/Truck Technician for a permanent full-time role in Edmonton, AB. You will perform maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment and vehicles, prioritizing safety and quality.

The ideal candidate has a Journeyman Heavy Duty certification, 5+ years' experience, and may have vacuum trucks experience along with a valid Class 5 license; the position offers growth opportunities and a supportive safety-focused team.

Qualifications

• Licensed/Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic.
• 5+ years' experience working as a Heavy Equipment Technician/Mechanic.
• Previous experience working on Vacuum Trucks is an asset.
• Previous experience quoting jobs preferred.
• Class 5 Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the #1 priority by following safe work practices, policies, and processes.
• Secure equipment before work/repairs (e.g., chock blocks and jack stands).
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on company vehicles and equipment.
• Inspect equipment and identify required repairs.
• Carry out routine maintenance tasks and troubleshooting/repairs.
• Disassemble, inspect, and replace worn parts; fit/adjust components.
• Complete and submit all paperwork for Preventative Maintenance scheduling.
