Job summary

NPAworldwide is seeking a dedicated Heavy-Duty Truck Mechanic in Regina to service and repair medium and heavy-duty trucks and mounted hydraulic equipment. You will handle daily work orders, assist with preventive maintenance, and document all work performed while maintaining compliance with safety procedures.

The role requires hands-on experience with hydraulics, electrical systems, engines, and transmissions, with some welding skills highly valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1st year apprenticeship in the Mechanical/Heavy-Duty Equipment trade.
• High School Diploma required.
• Knowledge of utility equipment is an asset.
• Experience with hydraulics, electrical, engines and transmission is an asset.
• Welding experience an asset.
• Must provide own tools.
• Valid Class 1A or 3A Driver’s Licence; driver’s abstract may be requested.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with heavy equipment knowledge.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain medium and heavy-duty trucks and mounted hydraulic equipment.
• Complete daily work orders and contribute input on preventive maintenance, servicing, repairs, inspections, parts, and emergency repairs.
• Maintain service documentation and reports of work performed.
• Review work orders and set priorities with Garage Foreman.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and electric systems.
• Adhere to safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Perform road service on trucks as required; some overnight stays may be needed.

• Road work on service trucks as required and some overnight stay as required
