Job summary

Finning Canada is seeking a Journeyman Mechanic in Edmonton to troubleshoot and oversee repairs on Caterpillar equipment. You will report to the Service Supervisor and coordinate service needs while interfacing with customers to ensure high-quality service.

Requires a Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician certification and at least 1 year of experience, with a strong commitment to safety. On-site shifts may be required; strive to maintain Finning's customer service standards and support with

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician Certification.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Heavy Duty Technician.
• Dedication to safety.
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal.
• Understanding of the Caterpillar product line is an asset.
• Engine and/or component rebuilding experience is an asset.
• Transmission or Hydraulic testing experience is an asset.
• Experience with Lawson, SIS (Service Information System) and warranty systems is an asset.
