Clean Harbors in Edmonton AB is seeking a Licensed/Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic to join their safety-conscious team, maintaining and repairing heavy equipment including tractors, trailers, and loaders.

This weekend position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus and is a permanent full-time role. Health benefits begin after 30 days of employment, with opportunities for growth and paid training. Join a team committed to safety and environmental excellence.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Heavy Duty Mechanic.
• 3+ years experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic is an asset.
• Hydraulics experience is an asset.
• Vacuum Trucks experience is an asset.
• Ability to use J Pro diagnostic software.
• Class 5 Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes.
• Complete Field Level Hazard and Job Hazard assessments.
• Perform thorough inspections (CVIP) of equipment and identify required repairs.
• Perform routine and specific maintenance on company vehicles and equipment.
• Inspect and diagnose components and equipment for servicing needs.
• Complete repair orders.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment and light and heavy-duty vehicles.
• Communicate equipment servicing needs with Supervisor.
• Complete warranty information.
• Disassemble, inspect, fit and replace worn or broken parts.
• Carry out housekeeping duties.
• Complete required documentation in an accurate and timely manner.

This individual will assist in the maintenance and repair of heavy handling units including, but not limited to tractors, trailers, and loaders.

This weekend position is eligible for a $5,000 Sign on Bonus.
