Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a dedicated 310T Maintenance Apprentice to join our fleet maintenance team in Ontario.

You will work alongside licensed technicians, inspect, repair, and maintain our heavy-duty vehicles while earning hours toward your 310T license. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and active 310T Apprentice registration or enrollment in pre-apprenticeship.
• Solid understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems in heavy vehicles.
• Commitment to safety regulations, PPE, and shop procedures.
• Willingness to build out your toolkit over time and maintain reliability in shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed 310T technicians with routine preventive maintenance and repairs on heavy commercial fleet.
• Learn and assist in diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, brake, suspension and electrical issues.
• Support safety checks, vehicle inspections, and ensure compliance with provincial standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and proper fluid handling in the shop.
• Log work orders, parts usage and repair notes accurately in company systems.
