Job summary

Redhead Equipment in Swift Current is seeking a Heavy Duty Equipment Service Technician (Road) to perform on-site inspection, diagnosis and repair of construction equipment, using a service truck. Journeyperson status or equivalent experience is preferred.

Ideal candidates have proven experience as a service technician in the construction equipment field, strong diagnostic skills (OEM programs), and the ability to read hydraulic and electric schematics.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson trade training in heavy duty construction equipment mechanics.
• 4th year apprentices may be considered.
• Experience as a service technician in construction equipment.
• Mechanical and/or computerized diagnostic skills using OEM programs.
• Ability to read hydraulic and electric schematics.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site inspection, diagnosis, and repair services for construction equipment.
• Travel to various job sites as needed, working independently in the field.
• Operate a service truck to perform service tasks at customer sites.

Redhead Equipment company has an exciting career opportunity for a Heavy Duty Equipment Service Technician (Road) at our Swift Current branch. Journeyperson status or similar experience is preferred.

At Redhead Equipment we do Whatever It Takes to meet the needs of our customers and have been doing so for over 75 years. We deliver the most dependable brands of agricultural, construction and truck and trailer equipment across 14 locations in Saskatchewan.

This position involves providing on site inspection, diagnosis, and repair services for a wide range of construction equipment utilizing a service truck. Journey person certification is required, however those with similar experience at a dealership will be considered.

Ideal candidates will possess the following

• Proficiency reading and interpreting hydraulic & electric schematics
