Job summary

Redhead Equipment in Swift Current is seeking a Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic to perform on-site inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on construction equipment using a service truck.

The role requires journeyperson certification with preference for candidates in the construction equipment industry; travel to various sites is expected, working independently in the field with a focus on quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson trade training in Heavy Duty Construction Equipment mechanics.
• 4th year apprentices may be considered.
• Proven experience as a service technician in the construction equipment industry.
• Mechanical and/or computerized diagnostic skills using OEM diagnostic programs.
• Proficiency reading and interpreting hydraulic & electric schematics.

Responsibilities

• On-site inspection, diagnosis, and repair of construction equipment using a service truck.
• Travel to various job sites as needed, working independently in the field.
• Provide exceptional customer service and pride in quality workmanship.

Redhead Equipment company has an exciting career opportunity for a Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic at our Swift Current branch.
At Redhead Equipment we do Whatever It Takes to meet the needs of our customers and have been doing so for over 75 years. We deliver the most dependable brands of agricultural, construction and truck and trailer equipment across 14 locations in Saskatchewan.
This position involves providing on site inspection, diagnosis, and repair services for a wide range of construction equipment utilizing a service truck. Journey person certification is required, however those with similar experience at a dealership will be considered.
