Job summary

Redhead Equipment is seeking a Journeyperson Heavy Duty Equipment Service Technician for our Saskatoon location. You will inspect, diagnose, repair and service heavy equipment in our service shop, using OEM diagnostic tools and hydraulic/electric schematics.

A strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship is essential. 3–5 years of experience and a journeyperson certification are preferred; apprenticeship candidates may be considered.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson trade training in Heavy Duty Construction Equipment mechanics.
• 3–5 years of experience preferred.
• Ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, repair and service equipment at the service shop.
• Maintain a safe and efficient work environment at the Saskatoon branch.
• Apply technical knowledge and ensure quality workmanship.

Redhead Equipment company has an exciting career opportunity for a Journeyperson Construction Equipment Service Technician at our Saskatoon branch.

This position is responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, repair, and service of equipment at our service shop. Journey person certification is required, however those with similar experience at a dealership will be considered.

• Commitment to customer service and pride in quality workmanship
• Positive and team-oriented attitude
• Experience working on Case, Volvo or Tigercat equipment is an asset.

Ideal candidates will possess the following:

• Journeyperson trade training in Heavy Duty Construction Equipment mechanics. 3rd and 4th year apprentices maybe considered.
• Mechanical and/or computerized diagnostic skills using OEM specific programs
• Proficiency reading and interpreting hydraulic & electric schematics
